The case can shrug off bottles and rocks. The cables go through the bracket so the cables can't be cut. Joints in the bracket have interlocking gears so the camera can't be casually re-aimed by grabbing it (you need a special tool to position the bracket). White balance and auto-backlight compensation are built-in.
